System Requirements
useMango AI requires UMAI Engine which runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux. The following are the minimum supported operating systems and hardware requirements. (macOS requirements will be updated soon.)
Port 8765 must be available on your machine to allow the UMAI Engine to communicate with the useMango AI website.
Windows
Note
The UMAI Engine requires the Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime to enable the Test Recorder feature. While this runtime is typically pre-installed on desktop editions of Windows, it may need to be manually installed on Windows Server systems. You can download the WebView2 Runtime here.

Linux
Note
If you are remotely accessing the machine over VNC, RDP, or similar remote desktop protocols, you will need to update the umai-engine.service file located at ~/.config/systemd/user/umai-engine.service by adding Environment="DISPLAY=:1" under the [Service] heading to allow browsers to launch properly.

While Ubuntu is our officially supported distribution, the UMAI Engine is likely to work on other Linux distributions. If you have success running it on another distro or would like to request support for one, please reach out to us.
